Vern's voice, the lyrics he wrote or chose to sing and the musical arrangements with them are timeless. A person could listen to "Is it Raining At Your House" 20 years from now and its effects on their mind and heart would be the same. Vern was truly a voice for the ages. I never can understand The Country Music Hall of Fame- sometimes it should be called CM Hall of Shame for not have Vern in there when he was alive to enjoy it.
