The Tripwire Acoustic Sessions

During what many refer to as the music industry’s spring break here in Austin, we transformed our Tripwire HQ inside the Levi’s/FADER Fort into our own small (and we mean SMALL) studio for recording acoustic performances from many of our favorite bands. We rolled video, captured some amazing audio, the results of which you can see below.

Over our four days rolling tape, we captured some unbelievable moments, cramming all six members of Fanfarlo into our room, hearing the rockin’ sounds of The Whigs in an acoustic setting, hearing some pretty amazing stories from Ed Harcourt, hanging out with Frightened Rabbit for a bit, the list goes on and on. We have mountains of tape to sort through, so we’ll be getting these acoustic performances up a bit at a time, so keep checking back for more. As we get them edited and ready for your viewing enjoyment, we’ll add them to this page. We just might have some MP3s coming soon as well! Stay tuned…
