For The Record – On Tour With Wild Light

wildlight1

Wild Light just landed in New York yesterday in the middle of their two-month long tour that will eventually lead them down to Texas for SxSW. Lucky for you The Tripwire has been along for the whole ride. Well, maybe not personally, but they did give us flip cam clips of where they’ve been so far to show you what life is like on the road with Wild Light.

The New Hampshire band — who’s debut record Adult Nights comes out next Tuesday [March 3] on StarTime International — left snowy New England to kick off their current tour on January 15 in Omaha, NB. They then headed west to sunny Los Angeles where they filmed a video for “California On My Mind” and trekked all the way across the continental United States over the course of a month to play the Bowery last night. They’ll be playing the Williamsburg Music Hall tonight before heading off once again down the East coast and back up through the Midwest to Chicago before finally landing in Texas. Through all of this, the guys seem to keep a happy demeanor — or at least that’s what they are willing to show us. Pieced together by Maia Stern, here is three minutes of what it’s like to be:
