Exclusive Premiere – Annie & The Beekeepers “Like A Dog”

We were first charmed by Annie and the Beekeepers last fall at CMJ, and the bluegrass-folk outift is now readying a new EP, Squid Hell Sessions, for release May 12. We’ve got your first listen to the lead track, “Like A Dog.”

The songs on Squid Hell Sessions were recorded appropriately enough at Squid Hell Studios in Jamaica Plain, Mass. last fall, and early this year in Brooklyn. The band produced the work with the help of Garth Stevenson, Adrian Olsen and Kyle VandeKerkhoff.

They’re celebrating the release with some dates around the northeast, which you can check out below, and of course, take a listen to “Like A Dog.”
