After 25 years of playing in dirty punk venues, shouldn’t The Clean have changed their name to “The Dingy” or “The Smudged” or something like that? They’ve certainly avoided becoming washed up (you like that pun?), and plan to release their first new full length in eight years, Mister Pop, September 8th on Merge. For the time being, we’ve got the single, “In the Dreamlife You Need A Rubber Soul”.
