Listen to Grass Widow’s “Celebrate The Mundane” Live at WFMU

GrassWidow-1A few weeks back, San Francisco’s trio of surf, harmony and riot-grrrlllness visited my radio show at WFMU in their down time during a New York weekend jam-packed with performances along with Crystal Stilts, The Beets, and Vivian Girls, among others.  Sorry you missed it, but let’s call this mp3 your consolation prize: the entire set has been made available for free download.  Although three out of four tracks from Grass Widow’s new self-titled 12″ EP on Captured Tracks are played on that live set, they only played their cover of The Urinal’s “Black Hole” during sound check – you’ll have to buy the album to hear that one!
