Howard or Regis – will NYC’s real Slim Shady please stand up?

Howard Stern king of all media, producer of FX’s Son Of The Beach and morning show host for WXRK New York may soon be jumping ship. According to the latest Arbitron reports, Stern’s cumulative audience has dropped 12% from 1.2 million weekly back in 1998 to 1.05 million now. Stern has claimed that this will be the last year that he is on the air, since his contract will ending and other (non radio) projects are already on the table.

And now for something much shorter but equally as loud,Regis Philbin’s
ratings are blowing up since the devil herself Kathy Lee Gifford left the show in July.According to Nielson Media research Live With Regis had 26% more viewers in the first three weeks than the same three weks of Live with Regis and Kathy Lee.

When reached for comment a small boy told us, “the Mrs. Goddess Lee cannot come to the phone now. Please send help. If she catches me, my 19 brothers and I will”, that is when the phone call was abruptly cut off.
