Chili Peppers Film Portland Show for DVD Release

The cameras will roll during the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ show
in Portland tonight (Sept. 21), as acclaimed
music video director Wayne Isham will be filming the show for a live
DVD and home video release.
Like the Chili Peppers, Isham has received an MTV Video Vanguard Award, having directed videos
for the likes of
Metallica, Smashing Pumpkins, and Bon Jovi.


The Portland show is the next-to-last stop on the band’s current tour with
Stone Temple Pilots and Bicycle Thief,which concludes tomorrow night in Seattle.
Official word on a release date is expected soon for the DVD and
video. There are currently no plans for a companion live album.
