Smash is the new late night comedy show that VH-1 is hoping will take them futher away from a “music video” channel. Like their older and uncooler sister, VH-1 has turned to “Captain Enormo-Tongue” Gene Simmons to produce the show. Smash will be a series that revolves around a fomer MC Hammer type singer who has never been able to acheive the success he once had.
