B-side Pixie-lation due in March

Old indie bands don’t die. They just form other bands or release compilations CDs. And, in some
cases, they do both. Preeminent US pop-noiseniks The Pixies have announced plans to
release a career retrospective CD, primarily comprised of B-sides. The CD, Complete
B-Sides,
due to be released March 5 on 4AD, will contain CD-rom videos for “Alison” and
“Here Comes Your Man,” as well as the aforementioned 19 B-sides.

Ex-Pixie Black
Francis/Frank Black is still producing solo albums and tours and his foil in the Pixies,
Kim Deal ,played out at the end of last year with her band, The Breeders.
