The heralded Manchester, England trio, Doves, are hitting the road stateside in support of their debut album, Lost Souls (not to be mistaken with the soundtrack for the wretched Winona-Ryder-clunker of a film bearing the same name), which was released in the US last October. They’ll kick off in Philly at the end of February, and end up in Portland on March 11. Currently, they’re in the studio working on the anticipated follow-up album, of which singer/bassist Jimi Goodwin recently said, “It’s quite upbeat so far. It’s definitely different from Lost Souls already, and they’re only rough demos.”
