Placebo’s third album will finally see the light of day in the United States, only seven months after it’s initial U.K. release. Black Market Music which is well into it’s third single, Special K, will be released on Virgin records May 8th. The sexually confused band will spark a European tour in Dresden, Germany on March 16 that will take them through April 11 when the tour is schedule to stop in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The three piece will then hit the States for a limited run in May.
Evan Dando will be playing his first UK and Irish shows in four years, starting February 14 in Dublin. The former front man for the Lemonheads, watched his London show at the Dingwalls sell out in 30 minutes. Ben Lee and Ben Kweller will open up for the beantown native.
