De La Soul, pioneers of the alternative hip-hop lifestyle are peaking interest on the Internet these days, a pricey one at that. The Grammy nominated group are offering a private DJ lesson on Ebay from Maseo (Plug Three) with the current bid standing above 1,000 dollars. The winner also will receive autographed CDs, a pair of tickets to see De La Soul in concert, and regular updates of De La Soul events and parties. The catch is that you must also pay for the plane ticket and hotel (if outside of NYC) and you have to rub Maseís ass when he asks nicely. De La recently were nominated for Grammy in the Best Rap Performance Duo or Group for their single “Oooh” featuring Redman.
