Belgium waffle business must be down, because the country is looking for some absurd free press. Police in Belgium have raided homes of mp3blast.com users attempting to “crack down” on the file-sharing site and itís subscribers. The “raids” took place in December and January according to the BBC (before the US courts ruled against Napster). Police are reviewing the cases of four Napster users. Apparently the Police feel that all mp3 sites are illegal, since Napster has shut it’s doors. Marcel Heymans, director general of the Belgian branch of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, said the people raided: “had been clearly warned yet persevered with the practice.”
