More over bacon weíve got something leaner. Blink 182 will be avoiding the punk aesthetic that made them into pop superstars by hitting the road this summer on a tour sponsored by Honda Civic. The tattooed pin up stars will design a Blink 182 Civic for the car manufacturer to promote the company while playing 9 US cities in 11 days. The “Blinkmobile” will follow the band on tour, and Honda plans on giving the sweet ride away as part of a contest that fans can register for at www.civictour.co, or at any of the live dates.

Blink 182 will be joined by Alkaline Trio (who will knock your friggin socks off) and Sum 41. All tickets for the Civic Tour 2001 will go on sale April 14.
