Express – Tuesday: Bjork/Yorke Duet,Stereophonics Album,Coldplay Tour Done

Prepare to videotape the Oscar ceremonies from Los Angeles on March 25,
as it will feature a live performance from Bjork and Thom Yorke duetting
Bjork’s Best Song-nominated “I’ve Seen It All.” It is bound to
be an epic event, as the pair are to be backed by not only a live band, but a
55 piece orchestra. Bjork is also due to announce a 6 or 8 date mini-world tour set for dates around May 21,
the release date for her new album, Vespertine.

Welsh rockers Stereophonics have been forced to alter the name of their
upcoming album, which had been entitled J.E.E.P. (Just Enough Education to Perform). Daimler-Chrysler, the makers
of the Jeep brand have denied use of their trademarked name and the ‘Phonics album will go by it’s full title instead.

Coldplay have apologized to U.S. fans after having to cut their debut American tour short due to illness. The cancelled dates included stops in Boston, Miami and Toronto,
as well as last week’s failed New York City show. The band issued an apology to all fans and stated that they would be back for another, bigger North American
tour in May/June and that they would make up the NYC show on April 9 at the bigger Roseland Ballroom.
