Express – Thursday: Radiohead Summer Tour, Foos Play Benefit, RATM

Radiohead have loosely confirmed plans to tour the US this summer. Guitarist Ed O’Brien and bassist
Colin Greenwood announced on an interview on KROQ that the band would play a short set of dates on the
West Coast, hitting Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Seattle. They would then take a month off before
returning to the States for an East Coast tour. More details to come for sure…

Next month, Miami will host Rock The Boat 2001: Concert For Democracy, an benefit concert featuring performances
by Foo Fighters, 3 Doors Down and Days of the New. The concert is to raise money for an
organization that is “trying to promote the idea of healing AIDS-related sickness with
alternative medicines,” according to Dave Grohl

As we reported yesterday, Chris Cornell has indeed been rehearsing with Rage Against The Machine.
Guitarist Tom Morello has indeed confirmed that the band had been working with the former
Soundgarden frontman on what he termed “groundbreaking” material. However, he was quick to add
“Chris Cornell is definitely not the singer of Rage Against The Machine.”
