Black Crowes Ready Album Release

The Black Crowes are back with a vengeance. Recently signed to V2, they are releasing their sixth studio album on May 14th, appropriately titled Lions. Their latest effort is produced by major-leaguer Don Was, who has produced records for Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and Willie Nelson. They are currently on the road for a handful of US dates, and are scheduled for a full blown summer tour with British bad boys, Oasis. Lead singer Chris Robinson recently wed actress Kate Hudson, who won a Golden Globe for her role in Almost Famous. Hudson also earned an academy award nod for the role.


Tour dates are as follows: Austin, TX South by Southwest-3/16; Charlotte, NC City Fest 2001-4/28; Zephyr Hills, FL Festival Park-4/29; W. Palm Beach, FL Sunfest 2001-5/3; Atlanta, GA Music Town-5/4; Nashville, TN River Stages-5/5; Memphis, TN Beale St. Music Festival-5/6
