Dismemberment Plan Ready New Record

Put your hands in the air, and wave ‘em like you just don’t care, the Dismemberment Plan will have a new record out soon. We last heard from the D.C. crew when they terrorized heads with 1999’s Emergency & I, and the Plan have revealed new album info on their official site www.dismembermentplan.com.
Travis Morrison, the group’s front man claims the album will be complex, very melodic and a little mellow. “I think it’s our first record that could really be a late-night album…The way I’m seeing it, it’s an album that won’t give it all up the first time you listen.” The Plan have all of their songs written and are anxious to hit the studio with the same Emergency & I producers J. Robbins and Chad Clark. J. Robbins’ band Burning Airlines have their new record coming out on DeSoto (Robbins owns DeSoto). No title has been set but rest assured, this album will have everything from Jazz and Electronic or even a sweat filled R & B jam with fantastic energy. Look out for the new Dismemberment Plan album soon on DeSoto records, you won’t want to let it pass you by.
