Red Hot Chili Peppers will take a break from recording the follow up to their Californication album and play this yearís V2001 Festival. According to redhotchilipeppers.com, the LA all stars will appear at the festival the weekend of August 18, 19 in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire.
The spicy LA band are also slated to support U2 at Slane Castle in Ireland on August 25, and at the Prins Van Oranjehal in Utrecht, Holland on August
23.
