Jane’s Addiction Back for Coachella Festival

It’s official! Jane’s Addiction are reuniting to headline the second annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Cali, which proves one thingóthat there is, in fact, a supreme and benevolent Being watching over all of us. Other acts confirmed for the festival include Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Reprazent, Weezer, The Roots, Tricky, Aphex Twin, St Germain and The Dandy Warhols.

The acclaimed band will be back together for the first time since 1997 when they toured and recorded some new material for their “Kettle Whistle” compilation. Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Flea will again be performing bass duties in place of Eric Avery. The returning originals are Perry Farrell, Dave Navarro, and Stephen Perkins. The Festival will be held at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California, on April 28th. For more info, check out www.coachella.com.
