Monday Express – Radiohead Reveals New Art, Ben Harper Covers The Verve

The art just keeps getting weirder. Fresh off the bizarre-cryptic-mountain-range photo that was
on the cover of Kid A, Radiohead have posted on their website,
www.radiohead.com, the art for their pending masterpiece, Amnesiac, which is due out on
June 5th on Capitol. For those of you too lazy to go check it out yourselves, it’s what seems to
be a pencil sketch of a creature crying, with a red background. What the hell that is
representative of, I have no clue, but Thom Yorke and his tortured soul most likely have
something to do with it. Regardless, the album will be brilliant, so they can get away with
whatever art they want, I suppose…

Strange things are afoot at the Circle K. Groovy guitar meister Ben Harper is getting
his cover versions on. His new double live album, Live From Mars, out last week,
features a solo acoustic cover of The Verve’s “The Drugs Don’t Work”, as well as
remakes of “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye and Led Zeppelin’s “Whole
Lotta Love.” Harper and his criminals will also be hitting the road, starting this week
on April 6 in Claremont, CA and wrapping up on May 27, just two hours away in Santa
Barbara.
