Green Day will take back whatís rightfully theirs this summer, the open road. One of the hardest working and tightest playing acts in rock will kick off their summer tour June 17 at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Minneapolis, according to greenday.com. The band will attack the Late Show on April 27, then following the tour, the East Bay punkers will take over Europe for some prime festivals (Reading, Leeds, and Glasgow Green) in August. The infectious Australian crew The Living End are possible openers for this “must see” tour. Green Day released their sixth album (fourth for Reprise) Warning in October of last year.
