Massive Attack + Faith No More = ?

In an interview on Massive Attack’s official website, www.massiveattack.co.uk, band member Robert “3-D” Del Naja disclosed that he and ex-Faith No More frontman Mike Patton are looking to possibly start a new band together. He said, “I’ve been having ongoing e-mail conversations with PattonÖwe keep talking about sending each other tracks and setting up something abstract. It could turn out to be a good cross-pollination of ideas; we’ll see how it goes!” Let’s hope it goes real damn well.

Patton’s famous ex-band, Faith No More, finally imploded, after years of speculation, in 1998, he’s been playing with a band, Phantomas, since then. Massive Attack is still together and making music.
