It’s been announced that Travis, Eminem, and the Manic Street Preachers will headline this year’s Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds festivals on August 24th -26th. Travis, Green Day and PJ Harvey will play the Reading site on Friday(8/24) while Eminem, Marilyn Manson and Queens Of The Stone Age will play the Leeds site on the same day. On Saturday, the Manics will headline Reading together with the Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Supergrass, while Travis, Green Day and PJ Harvey are playing the Leeds site.
Finally, Eminem will headline on the Reading stage on Sunday together with Marilyn Manson and Queens Of The Stone Age while the Manics, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Supergrass will play Leeds on the same day.
. Meanwhile, on the Radio 1 Evening Session stage, Ash, Mogwai, Mercury
Rev and Stephen Malkmus are all set to appear.
Further acts and stages will be announced in the coming weeks for the
Main Stage and the Evening Session Stage. And still to be announce is
the line-up for The Carling Stage, The Dance Stage and the Play UK Comedy
