Monday Express-Oasis’ Money Not Good Enough; New Order Emits Primal Scream

Evidently, being in one of the country’s biggest bands in the past 30 years isn’t sufficient
enough cred to open an account at the Queen of England’s bank, Coutts. Oasis’ battling
brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher attempted to open an account at the
bank, but, unfortunately for them, have been denied. Apparently, being worth
approximately £30 million together isn’t enough; they have been denied admittance to the
bank due to their extravagant and flamboyant lifestyles. I thought banks were places to
hold your money, not make character judgments? Good thing Robert English
hasn’t tried applying to Coutts!

As previously reported by the crack news staff here at The Tripwire, the upcoming
New Order album will feature guest appearances by The Chemical
Brothers and ex-Smashing Pumpkin, Billy Corgan. However,
another collaborative effort on the album has been revealed and we thought we’d bring
you a NEWS UPDATE. In a fusion of UK super groups, New Order has been
joined by Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes of Primal Scream
on a couple of tracks, with Innes rocking guitar parts and Gillespie
adding backing vocals. The album is still due in September, but New Order will
hit the road in the US for the West Coast leg of Moby’s Area: One tour.
