Wilco Keeping Busy, YHF Follow-up Completed?

Riding on the success of a critically acclaimed top 20 album, one might think that Wilco could finally, after months of headaches, kick back and take it easy. But apparently, that hasnít been the case at all for the Chicago-based rockers. Wilco have, in fact, already finished an albumís worth of material dubbed Decibels Per Minute. According to Rolling Stone, the band recorded the album in just a weekís time at their hometown studio, The Loft. Always the proponents of new and different ideas, Tweedy and company began the album by creating the artwork and deciding a title and track listing. However, Tweedy only had four songs written in time for the sessions so, to round out the record, each member of Wilco was in charge of an improvisational piece. The completed work is 8 tracks strong and ready to go, though Tweedy doesnít know how much of the new music will actually be released. Wilco embark on a European tour in support of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot this week.
