Garbage Heading Back To Court

Garbage really should just hang up the whole “making music” thing and become lawyers, they spend so much more time in the courts than anywhere else. And true to form, the British band (along with its former label, Almo Sounds, and its
various publishing companies) is now getting sued by Helios Music Corp. for copyright infringement over “I Think I’m Paranoid,” a song off their sophomore release, Version 2.0. Apparently, the Garbage song sounds a li’l too much like a 1967 song by American Breed called “Bend Me, Shape Me.” There is no mention of “I Think I’m Paranoid” being written by anyone other than Garbage in the liner notes to the 1998 album.
