In sad and surprising news, rocker/actress/celebrity Courtney Love suffered a miscarriage late last week while in Vancouver shooting her new movie, 24 Hours.
“It was very early in the pregnancy,” Love’s spokeswoman, Heidi Schaeffer, tells the New York Daily News. “She had been bleeding for several days. She’d been working very hard. Her director, Luis Mandoki, finally insisted on Tuesday that she go to the hospital. He put her in a car.” Love’s people are refusing further comment on the incident, and on speculation about who the father was. She’s expected back on the set of 24 Hoursthis week.
