Despite all the animosity between Blur and Oasis throughout the years (or, at least, the animosity between fans of Blur and Oasis), Blur frontman, Damon Albarn is looking to possibly add Liam Gallagher to the roster for the next release by his side-project, Gorillaz. Albarn says, “I want Liam to be on the next album. He’s got a fantastic voice. I’d like to write him a decent song for once because he hasn’t had any for years. He’s wasted being this big pop star with celebrity girlfriends.” Ok, that’s not quite a full-fledged compliment, but it seems like progress. A spokesman for Liam couldn’t confirm that an approach had been made, but doesn’t it make you all tingly inside to think about?
