Pedro the Lion Want Some Control

According to sources at Fanatic Promotion, indie stalwarts Pedro the Lion are working on their follow up to 2000’s Winners Never Quit, which granted, in itself, is not all that newsworthy. The real kicker here is that, apparently, their follow-up will be a note-for-note cover of Janet Jackson’s album, Control, and will bear the same name. As of now, the record has been pushed back from a July 2001 release date to sometime next year, due to mastermind Dave Bazan’s current unhappiness with the project.
