Monday Express – Bush Go Back To Basics, Shaq Gets By With A Little Help

Grunge superstars Bush are in the midst of completing the recording for their fourth studio album, due to hit shelves in October. The album, which will be released on Atlantic Records, is being produced by David Sardy, who has also worked with Marilyn Manson and Red Hot Chili Peppers. The majority of the album was recorded in London and the band is currently in Los Angeles altering the tracks. Sardy says the yet unnamed record is a return to form and that the band was trying to “capture the great performances of the band playing,” instead of relying on production techniques.

From the “Just When You Thought The World Makes Sense” file comes news that the one and only Shaquille O’Neal is to release another album (who could ever forget the classic “What’s Up Doc (Can We Rock?)” collaboration with Fu-Schnickens?). The Shaq man has already enlisted the help of rockers Nick Hexum and Chad Sexton from 311 and Korn’s Fieldy for his upcoming fourth album. Add that to a group of guests that already included George Clinton, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and many other luminaries and you already have more talent than the other 10 Laker scrubs not named Shaq or Kobe.
