Cybernauts Live: A Tribute To David Bowie

This idea sounds like a match made in heaven, or Mars, or Spider-Leppardville. Members of Def Leppard (frontman Joe Elliott, Leppard guitarist Phil Collen) teamed up with members of David Bowieís former squad Spiders From Mars (bassist Trevor Bolder and drummer Mick “Woody” Woodmansey) to cover 25 vintage Bowie tracks for an upcoming album. Eighteen of the tracks were live (which make up the first of the two disc set) while seven other tracks were recorded in studio making up the bonus portion. Elliot and his new crew (complete with two armed drummer) are called the Cybernauts, and the remake two-CD set is dubbed Cybernauts Live.
