US Gothic-pop band, Sparklehorse, who are much more appreciated overseas than here at home, are putting together short films for each of the 13 tracks on their new record, Itís a Wonderful Life.
The mini flicks will each be produced and directed by a different artist. So far, three have been completed ñ ìSea Of Teethî by Mercury Revís Jonathan
Donahue, ìMore Yellow Birdsî by Grandaddyís Jason
Lytle and long time Sparklehorse percussionist Scott Minorís ìHelloise.î The remaining films are currently being produced by the likes of Will Oldham (Palace Brothers), Guy Madden and Tom Waits, and upon completion will be shown at the Edinburgh Festival in August.
