Thom Yorke vs. The Beatles

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has committed the most serious of all heresies in the UK (probably anywhere, for that matter), and gone on record saying negative words about the Beatles. On the official Radiohead website, www.radiohead.com, Yorke says that John, Paul & Co. lumped songs on the classic Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Bandwhether or not they really fit together. He also states that to avoid the same mistake, Radioheadís Amnesiacwas purposely separated from their other recent release Kid A to reflect the differences between songs – “This is a three-year period of creativity and to chuck out one album at the end is ridiculous. We have left it to people to pick up the pieces and, may I add, ‘Sergeant Pepper’ is a complete mess!” Donít be surprised if we never see or hear from wee Thom again.
