Coldplay is winding down their North American tour this month, but has just announced that theyíll play another show this Sunday (6/24) at the Wiltern
Theatre in Los Angeles. The tickets will go on sale on Saturday the 23rd at 1pm at all Ticketmaster outlets. The band is still touring behind their highly-acclaimed debut, Parachutes,and will be wrapping up the stateside trek on June 28th at NYCís famed Radio Music Hall. On the bandís website, www.coldplay.com, frontman Chris Martin discusses their success – “It is incredible to me how many different places we have now been where people know the words to our songs,” he writes. “You know, you start a song on your own in a room, and then you take it to the band, and they do something with it, and then a bit of time later and 3000 Texans are there telling you what was or wasn’t yellow!”
