The soundtrack confirmation is locked down for the upcoming Jay and Silent Bob movie appropriately dubbed to Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (Hi George Lucas). The film will star Jay (Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith) as the two loveable characters who plan on drinking beer, drinking beer, smoking weed, smoking weed, and yelling out “snootchie bootchies” for reasons beyond comprehension. PJ Harvey, Bloodhound Gang, Marcy Playground and Stroke 9 are just a few names that will appear on the soundtrack due out on August 14. Stroke 9 will rock the first single “Kick Some Ass,” on July 3 via Universal, and Jay and the Silent one will appear in the video. The striking back we spoke of can be witnessed in theaters on August 24.
