Atlanta rockers Sevendust are finishing up recording their third LP, entitled Animosity,which is expected to surface in late October. The follow-up to 1999’s Home,will showcase the bandís more mature, emotional side, while still remaining true to their hard-rocking testosterone side, according to a TVT Records publicist. Songs slated to appear on Animosityinclude “Leech,” “Trust,” “Crucified,” “Follow” and “Shine,” as well as a new version of “Angel’s Son,” a track by frontman Lajon Witherspoon and the surviving members of Snot that appeared on last year’s Strait Up,a tribute album honoring late Snot singer Lynn Strait. Fans can expect a tour to kick off as soon as August.
