After much speculation surrounding the possibility of adding an unprecedented second U2 show at Slane Castle in Ireland, the show has been given the big green light for September 1…and has already sold out. The venue holds 80,000 people and every ticket sold after 90 minutes of being on sale yesterday. The first show, taking place on August 25, sold out just as quickly and will also feature the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and Kelis. The second date will showcase openers Moby, the Foo Fighters, Nelly Furtado, and Dara.
