After selling out their August 8 gig at the Electric Ballroom in London in a matter of mere seconds, the Avalanches have added a second date at the venue to take place August 22. Their current trek will wrap up later this month with stops at the V2001 festival on the 18th/19th as well as the Creamfields Festival in Liverpool on the 25th. The band are on tour overseas in support of their release.

Britainís Cast is back and set to release their new album, Beetroot,in the UK on July 30th. The follow-up to1998ís Magic Hour will spawn the first UK single, ìDesert Drought,î on July 16th The boys will also be heading out on the road in Britain in August and September to support of the new LP.
