Guided by Voices has been forced to cancel a few upcoming shows due to drummer Jon McCann breaking his hand. The mysterious cause of the break has not been revealed, but the band will still play the Coney Island Siren Music Festival on July 21 and all scheduled shows after that. If McCann hasn’t recovered well enough to play by then, former GBV drummer Jim MacPherson will
perform the ole stick duties in his place. The Siren Music Festival will also feature Man or Astro-Man, Superchunk, and the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Rainer Maria, and Quasi among others.

Hot French-duo-of-the-moment, AIR, have added four new tour dates to their fall tour.
They’ve announced new gigs in Glasgow, Dublin,
and London in October and November. The tour will features material from their recent sophomore LP,10,000 Hz
Legend.
