Icelandic band-of-the-moment, Sigur RÛs have just announced the dates for their upcoming North American tour this fall (www.sigur-ros.com). The band hasn’t released any information about opening acts, but their last North American tour saw them playing extended sets instead of bringing another band along with them. Sigur RÛs continue to travel in support of their most recent recording, ¡gÊtis Byrjun.Their jaunt across our fair land will kick off Sept. 18 in Detroit (Kid Rock loves ‘em!) and wind up in Los Angeles on Oct. 10.
