R.E.M. are lining up another set of gigs in support of their latest moody offering,
Reveal. The band has announced their first confirmed show (of this second go round) – playing the annual Bridge School Concert at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The exact date has not been announced yet but, as always, Neil Young will be headlining, as well as Pearl Jam and other bands that have not been confirmed yet. Last year’s performers included Tom Petty
and the Heartbreakers, Dave Matthews Band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, and The Foo Fighters. R.E.M. is also expected to announce a trek through Europe in September and October of this year.
