Pedro the Lion Re-Release, and Tour

Pedro the Lion’s current record company, Jade Tree, has announced it will
re-release their 1998 debut full-length, It’s Hard To Find a Friend, along with the follow-up, The Only Reason I Feel Secure EP on October 16th. Both records were originally released through the now-defunct Made In Mexico label, may it rest in peace. The reissued versions have been remixed, remastered, and repackaged and will include lyrics. Rumor around the indie world is that Pedro has finished recorded their third record, Control,a song-for-song recreation of Janet Jackson’s breakthrough LP of the same name, but apparently, there are some complications holding up it’s release. Until then, you can catch ‘em on tour.
