Built To Spill Play Ancient Melodies For You

Veteran modern rockers Built to Spill have announced that theyíll embark on an east coast American tour starting September 4 in Minneapolis at the First Avenue venue and is due to wrap it up in Dallas at the Gypsy Ballroom on September 30. The group is hitting the road in support of their latest release on Warner Bros., Ancient Melodies of the Future. Built to Spill already hit the ole west coast for 25 exclusive dates out there earlier in the year before the record came out.

Sept. 8: Cincinnati (Bogart’s)

Sept. 9: Columbus, Ohio (Newport Music Hall)

Sept. 10: Detroit (Magic Stick)

Sept. 11: Cleveland (Agora Ballroom)

Sept. 12: Pittsburgh (Rosebud)

Sept. 13: Philadelphia (Trocadero)

Sept. 14-15: Washington, D.C. (9:30 Club)

Sept. 16: Providence, R.I. (Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel)

Sept. 17-19: Boston (Paradise)

Sept. 20-22: New York (Irving Plaza)

Sept. 23: Charlottesville, Va. (Star Hill Music Hall – tentative)

Sept. 24: Chapel Hill, N.C. (Cat’s Cradle)

Sept. 25-26: Atlanta (Variety Playhouse – tentative)

Sept. 27: New Orleans (venue/date tentative)

Sept. 28: Houston, Texas (Engine Room – tentative)

Sept. 29: Austin, Texas (Stubb’s)
