Former Ben Folds Five frontman Ben Folds has announced that he’ll kick off a solo U.S tour beginning in his old stomping grounds of Chapel Hill, N.C. on Sept. 7 and wrapping up in Los Angeles on Oct. 15. He’s touring in support of his upcoming solo record, Rockin’ The Suburbs,out on Epic Records Sept. 11
Folds, who now resides in Australia, will be backed on the road by longtime Chapel Hill friends Snooz (guitar/keyboard) and Millard (bass), as well as drummer Jim Bogios, who’s also played with the Dixie Chicks and Sheryl Crow.
