Weezer has reached down from the heavens (or from record label heights) and tapped fellow Interscope/Geffen band, Cold, to do the opening honors for them during a slew of September tour dates (which are still in the process of getting confirmed) ñ the trek kicks off on Sept. 6 and continues through Sept. 29. Cold has been touring like crazy people since the release of their sophomore effort, 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage,a year ago. They’ve already performed opening duties for the likes of Limp Bizkit, Staind, Godsmack, and 3 Doors Down and are hoping to headline a tour of their own in the near future. The band is currently shooting a video for the fourth single off 13 Ways To Bleed On Stage.
