According to The Hollywood Reporter, MTV pin up boy Carson Daly will take over hosting duties for the dormant Later show on NBC. The half hour intimate talk show was previously hosted by Bob Costas and Greg Kinnear. The show will air Monday – Thursday from 1:35 a.m. to 2:05 a.m. (EST) following Late Night With Conan O’Brien. The same dude who couldn’t hold Jennifer Love Hewitt or Tara Reid, takes the gig as part of a three-year deal with NBC Studios.
