Tricky Announces New U.S. Trek

After doing the rounds on the European festival circuit through August, Tricky has announced he will return to the states for a fall tour beginning September 19 in Chicago and, as of now, wrapping up in Denver on October 1 (although more dates are expected to be added in the coming weeks). He’s gracing the public’s presence in support of his latest release on Hollywood Records, Blowback – his best received effort the 1995 debut, Maxinquaye. Jamaican musician Hawkman, who sings on “Evolution Revolution Love” and several other tracks on the new record, will join Tricky on this U.S. tour.

Confirmed Tricky tour dates are as follows:

9/19 – Chicago, IL @ Vic Theatre

9/20 – Detroit, MI @ St. Andrew’s Hall

9/24 – New Orleans, LA @ House of Blues

9/25 – Houston, TX @ Numbers

9/26 – Dallas, TX @ Deep Ellum Live

9/27 – Austin, TX @ La Zona Rosa

9/29 – St. Louis, MO @ The Pageant

9/30 – Kansas City, MO @ Madrid Theatre

10/1 – Denver, CO @ Ogden Theatre
