
Early ’90s indie powerhouse Dinosaur Jr. has a best-of compilation headed our
way. Ear Bleeding Country will hit stores on October 2, via Rhino Records. The
19-track CD features a cover of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” and a track from his
Dino Jr afterthought band, Fog, entitled “Where’d You Go?” Mastermind
J. Mascis will be unavailable to tour on the release, however, as he is still
recuperating from a June car crash that broke two vertebra. Things are looking up, however,
as he is working on his sophomore solo album, with seven songs already recorded.
